Your ceiling fan may be creating a rattling sound grinding noise buzzing noise rubbing noise clicking noise humming noise or squeaking noise. It s possible that the fan may make these noises on any speed setting or even just particular speed settings.
Unless the dimmer has been designed for use with a ceiling fan this could create a hum or a ticking noise. Most of the time a few adjustments to the fan s components will resolve thie issues.
