Ground Wire Ceiling Fan And Light

If your wires had plastic caps on the end of the wires replace them.

White wire is neutral. If your fan doesn t have lights you ll only have to connect the black wires. Wire your fan using wire nuts to connect the white wire from your fan to the white wire in your ceiling. Wire the source ground to the ground wires for the switch and the fan.
A black wire to carry the hot feed a white wire for. At the fan splice the wires matching the colors of each and connect the ground wire to the grounding terminal.
