Blender Zoom Very Slow

Blender zoom very slow. The size of the object doesn t matter it can be huge or one or two blender units. Rotation and zoom are both relative to this point zooming in or out moves you a certain percentage towards or away from this point. Hey in my blender projects whenever i zoom in on an object the zooming increment seems to slowly decrease. This is seemingly an endless cycle.

I have no idea what version i was using before but that shouldn t matter as reinstall didn t help now using 2 78b. Actually the real answer is that blender s zooming is relative to an invisible center point. I have never rendered anything with blender it is slow straight when i open it and as i said i even reinstalled it. If i switich to an orthographic view zooming will resume normally but then begins to slow down more and more and then stops. There the camera works just as i want it to.

To elaborate it seems like after trying to zoom in so far the entire object is still in view its not that far in it reaches a max and just stops working. I have had this problem before. Begingroup unfortunately the 375 95 driver doesn t support windows 10 and i m very uncertain about changing to out of date drivers because it might cause problems on my computer but i m willing too if i can find a w10 one known to work with blender.
